What this is

This is Oyestore - real chapters, real prices, real dates, wrapped around some genuinely just-for-fun extras built by the Oyestore team: real songs on shuffle, a trip-notes doodle board, and a bit of gamified nonsense we call the Passport. The travel calendar is real; the Passport, Trip Notes and Wall are the fun part layered on top.

Booking a real trip

Nothing on this site processes a payment or a reservation directly. "Spin a Chapter" and "Explore this chapter" open a WhatsApp conversation with the Oyestore team, who confirm dates, pricing, seats and terms with you directly there - the same way every Oyestore chapter has always been booked. If a price, date or seat count shown here is ever out of date, what the team confirms with you on WhatsApp is what's correct.

Prices shown are exclusive of GST. GST is charged at 5% and is added to the final amount at the time of booking confirmation.

Cancellation & refund policy

Plans change - here's exactly what you get back if yours do, based on how close to departure you cancel:

• 30+ days before departure - 75% refund
• 15-29 days before departure - 50% refund
• 7-14 days before departure - 25% refund
• Less than 7 days, or a no-show - no refund

If Oyestore cancels a chapter (low sign-ups, weather, safety) you get a full refund or a credit toward a future chapter - whichever you'd rather have. One free date change is available if requested 15+ days before departure, subject to seat availability. Any refund due is credited back to your original payment method within 21 days. No refund applies to disruptions from government orders, harsh weather, protests, landslides or other circumstances outside our control.

A few practical things

• We reserve the right to rearrange the itinerary to suit availability, without changing the total number of days or cutting any service.
• Every guest needs to carry a government-issued ID.
• You'll need to confirm you're fit, physically and mentally, before starting any trek or activity with us.

No accounts, nothing to lose

There's no sign-up, no login, and no account here. The Oyestore Passport (miles, ranks, stamps), your Trip Notes, and anything you pin to The Wall are just for fun - they have no cash value, aren't redeemable for anything, aren't transferable, and can vanish if you clear your browser's storage, switch devices, or we ever update the site in a way that resets it. We won't try very hard to stop that from happening.

Music and photography

Songs stream live through YouTube's own embedded player - nothing is downloaded, re-hosted, or monetized here, and all rights stay with the original labels, composers and performers. Playing a track on this site is subject to YouTube's own Terms of Service. Hero and chapter photography is all our own, shot on real Oyestore trips.

Use it reasonably

Don't try to break, scrape, overload, or misrepresent this site, and don't upload anything to The Wall that you don't have the right to store or that's illegal, hateful, or infringing - remember it only ever lives in your own browser, so that's on you, not us.

As-is, and it might change

This site is provided as-is with no warranty of any kind, and we may change or update it at any time. Nothing here limits or replaces whatever's actually agreed between you and the Oyestore team when a chapter is booked.
